The Belgium captain and Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard, has disclose that his Chelsea team mate Mateo Kovacic helped him get his Real Madrid shirt.
Hazard also revealed that R. Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric, refused to give him his Los Blancos’ number 10 shirt after he asked the Croatian international for it.
The Chelsea star said he spoke to Luka Modric through the assistance of Kovacic, who is currently on loan at Chelsea from Real Madrid.
Hazard made this public on Thursday after he been unveiled as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Just few days ago, Eden Hazard completes his move to Madrid from Chelsea at the rate of £88.5millio.
The Croatian mild feeder Luka Modric is the current owner of the number 10 shirt in the Real Madrid dressing room, and regardless of Kovacic help, Hazard have no choice but to wear a different number for now.
Football London quotes Hazard as saying: "I have been able to talk to Modric through Kovacic."
"I was only joking when I asked him to lend me the number 10. He said no, so I’ll have to find another number. But right now number ain't important for me but to play with this badge."
