The Nigeria president, president Muhammadu Buhari in a recent announcement said the country will begin issuing visas on arrival for all African nationals.
The president made this public while attending a peace and development summit in Egypt.
This recent development in visa policy by Nigeria comes as a result of the signing of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, a treaty which seek to establish a continent-wide marketplace with an increment in trade and free movement among its major pillars.
When this policy comes to light, Nigeria along with Kenya and Ethiopia will become the Africa countries which have recently established visa on arrival policies for all African nationals.

Nigeria is committed to supporting the free movement of Africans within Africa. Yesterday at the Aswan Forum in Egypt I announced that, in January 2020, we will commence issuance of visas at the point of entry into Nigeria, to all persons holding passports of African countries.— Muhammadu Buhari (@MBuhari) December 12, 2019
