Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr drop Leicester City player Kelechi Iheanacho along with other players from the national team ahead of the 2019 Nations Cup in Egypt.
English club Rotherham United player Semi Ajayi was alledgedly dropped by the head coach who was not impressed with his game.
Kelechi performance was very poor at the just concluded EPL season as he struggled for form and was left on the bench for almost all the games.
He however got a chance to face Man City in week 37 of the Premier League season and saw a good chance to score against Pep Guardiola's men but failed to ultilize the chance as that could have ended their title race hope.
The rest of the National team will travel to Egypt for the tournament which kicks on June 21.
